New Media Project Evaluation

Evaluation is procedural. It should not simply happen at the end. Evaluation should work as both feedback and feedforward. In this Brown Bag, we will look at and listen to drafts of media projects and collaboratively compose feedback and develop a revision plan in accordance with the project rubric and goals of the projects themselves.

The following media projects that students (in a Media, Technology and Rhetoric section) have taken a week to compose. For context, they are responding to particular readings: the videos are working through N. Katherine Hayles's "Hyper and Deep Attention" and the podcasts are tackling Kevin Kelly's What Technology Wants.
